Student Health staff reviews immunization history of entering students to ensure compliance with New York State Public Health Law, which requires that all students have proof of measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) immunization history and complete a meningitis acknowledgment form.

Completed forms should be uploaded within your admissions application in the Supplemental Items section at yu.edu/apply.

Employees and students who test positive for COVID-19 should follow the CDC Guidelines regarding preventing the spread of respiratory viruses, which states:

Go back to your normal activities when, for at least 24 hours, both are true:

• Your symptoms are getting better overall, and
• You have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medication)

Students and employees working in a healthcare setting must follow the policies of the specific settings in which they are currently working or interning.
